OK here are my 3 favourite foundations out there.. 


BIT TOPPY - 

Just Skin Tinted Moisturiser

CHANTECAILLE  - £55

Pretty spenny for a tinted moisturiser, but this really is the perfect foundation, and the only tinted moisturiser I've evr used that you really don't need to moisturise before hand. It also has really good coverage, if you're loaded, lend us a tenner then splash out on one of these :)

STILL TOPPY BUT THERES A CATCH - 

Chanel - Teint Innocence Cream Compact 

- £45 (BUT the refill is £25)

I use this foundation loads, it's a really good coverage and still sheer, and works out a really good price if you just buy the refills.

SKINTOS - 

Natural Collection Tinted Moisturiser - £1.99!!!!!!!!!!

This tinted moisturiser is only £1.99 and really nice for every day wear, you may need a bit more concealer if you have blemishes/dark circles, than the others, but really nice to even out the skin, definitely the best on the consumer market imo :)

The Ultimate Greasy Smokey Eye

A little pot of MAC Liquid Fluid Line in black is THE product for this look. And the tools to create it are simply; your finger and your eyeliner. My fave eyeliner for this being Barry M Black Kohl Pencil (and it's only 3 quid)

Step 1- Using your finger. Smudge the liquid gel around your eye, just up to the crease.. be ambitious if u like but god please don't get anywhere near the brow.

BIG TIP 

Step 2- DUNK your eyeliner... into the MAC gak, eyeliner just isn't black enough without a dunk, you will become addicted. Pencil around your eye as close to the lashes as possible, pencil inside your lid above and below, and flick out your corners.

This works nice with any other colour eyeshadow also, just dip your eyeliner in the gak, and frame your eye with a bit of shiney blackness.

Side Partings.. NOOOOOO

Dunno if gunna be able to fight this every single catwalk show's got damn side partings.. At least if you're minging your hair can cover half your face...

catwalk. At Louise Gray, make-up artist James O’Riley created a

multicoloured dotted face. Inspired by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, spots

were drawn onto different areas of the faces.

A progression from natural ombré and dip-dye colouring, we’ve are now

seeing a move toward rainbow colouring and multi-tonal shades

The blue and fuchsia rainbow combination has been seen at both Mandy Coon

and Jeremy Scott autumn/winter 2011/12 shows and on Lauren Conrad

Some looks can edge on punk and grunge by using texture as seen on Laura

Steele, Cher Lloyd, at Mandy Coon and on Mia Wasikowska in W's Poor Little

TRENDSPOTTIN - WASHED OUT CRAZY COLOUR

Whilst those really cool people who live in Shoreditch's neon/lumo/vunge green and pink hair dye washes out from last years favourite look, it's trickled down and accidentally created a much more wearable colour trend that might catch on for you more mainstream types with pretty hair..

HOW TO GET THERE

Now, you don't need to go grotbags and wait for months to get there... The best trick is... buy you're standard shitty fancy dress shop party hair dye in pink/purple/blue/green, whatever you fancy, and simply mix it in with your conditioner.... At first you wont dare put much in and you just won't notice but by the second or third go it will build up and you'll have Kate Moss Candyfloss hair... yum

BRONZER WAR - THE BEST OF BOTH

Seen as though were not having summer this year (David Camerons fault like everything else) then you're probably all dashing a load of this on your face.... Now, I call this a war but there's no clear winner.. Nars Laguna, the make up artists fave, is the best shade bronzer I have ever come across... a perfect, non-orange tan shade without an oompa loompa in sight even on those days where you may need a little extra. 

However, at £24! For one bronzer! I feel it my duty in these testing times (David Camerons fault, again) to offer you a bargain alternative.. I wouldn't use it on a client its a tiny bit too shiney but its a really good pinky tan (pink cancels out orange and looks more natural like a real sun tan) and its £2.99! FOUNDATION BRUSH WAR - What do you slap yours on with??

These brushes range all the way from £1.50 for the ELF Foundation Brush, to a toppy £33 for the LAURA MERCIER Finishing Brush... 

Now as much as the PLASTIC Trowel is the first in my new line of Plastic Make up Toolz (don't all click BUY NOW AT ONCE) As a profesh make up artist, I would personally recommend the stumpy MAC Short Duo Fibre Brush as officially, imo, the BEST FOUNDATION BRUSH EVER.

Don't get me wrong, lip colours are going to get colder, but this looks like a toddler on the beach in Benidorm not the latest in beauty trends.. I would go for the Barry M in Lilac, its low pigment so goes on sheer, not matte and a bit softer than Jaime's blue.

ONE LOOK - WORKS FOR POSH LOT AT WIMBLEDON AND TRAMPS AT GLASTO!!

Okay, easiest look in the whole world, follow carefully..

Step 1 - Apply fake tan to you're moisturised face, our fave at the mo, HE-SHI, it's a bit toppy, but come on you're going to Wimbledon you're not that skint get the good one.
Step 2 - Put more fake tan on (more than that)
Step 3 - If you're now orange then stop, if you can take it, put bit more on your cheeks and forehead.
Step 4 - Apply Waterproof Mascara, we like Bad Gal from Benefit because it's clumpy and doesn't run.
Step 5 - Apply more Mascara don't be shy.
Step 6 - LEAVE YOUR FACE NOW THAT IS ALL! Its gunna poor down, then get sunny and you'll sweat, then rain again! You're gunna look really gross with foundation, eye roll on and blusher, just leave it you look nice.
Step 7 - Hair, theres no point blowdrying/straightening/faffing, throw some Surf in you're ends, maybe a little braid.. and go.. easy.

 "Just shooting the AW 10 Topshop look book and having a play with their new make up range which launches on May 5th. We used two of the nail colours for the shoot; the slate green and denim blue colours, but behind the scenes we were all trying out the off white, nude beige and muted coral colours. They last really well and they've covered a beautiful array of colours in the range. Can't wait to get my hands on a few personal pieces!"

THRUSH METAL - Get The Look using a Black Lippy on your EYES!

They wear their pajamas in public and shave their heads, now you might not be quite so cool, but to pay homage to the hottest girls to ever grace the stage EVER our new tutorial is a step by step guide to Thrush Metal's grungy eyes.

Now the trick is simple... you do your make up, how you normally do your make up, its can be as light and as pretty as you normally prefer... and then take a black lipstick... Barry M do a really good one, also Shu Uemura do... and smudge it your lower lid and maybe to outer corners of your lid... if you're feeling particularly brave, smudge right around your eye with your finger.... Sound messy? It doesn't need to be neat! That's not the point!
